“Huge mysterious manlike beast” . Unofficial, but descriptive in Latin, and it may make fence-sitting scientists more comfortable than the slang term
If a body is ever found, this will make an easy name to use.

History channel, A&E and the others continue to exploit the public’s curiosity over “monsters” with on-going programs about researchers who fail (and always will) to find actual monsters, aquatic or land because of the tendancy
of researchers to find objects left by shape-shifters and dimensional travellers and to then scream “Ahah – proof at last!” . This has gone on since the before the invention of TV.
Bits of hair, bits of blood (that we also have found) , track impressions, screams on tape,
photos (which we have taken also) all form “teasers” that never end. Bodies are never, ever found. The jaws of Gigantopithecus blacki, a 500,000 year old fossil ape,
are waved about but they never match the slender jaws of the Patterson Bigfoot. (1967 -film) Smells, poop, hairs, dna or the lack thereof, never match. It is time to quit.

Since people no longer read, and just watch tv, beware tv movies with
a cryptozoological theme, such as BIGFOOT or The Loch Ness Monster, or “CRYPTOZOOLOGISTS” .
Note that BIGFOOT HARMS NO ONE, NESSIE DOES NOT EAT FISHERMEN,
AND CRYPTOZOOLOGISTS DO NOT CARRY TEN DIFFERENT KINDS OF GUNS, PISTOLS AND PULSE WEAPONS FROM STAR WARS.
There are no caves and tunnels going from Loch Ness to the sea, for if there were,
the Loch would drain down 55 feet, like a bathtub. Nessie does not sleep in a cave.
There are not enough fish to support a tribe of zoological Nessies, and the water is too cold for a reptile.
Bigfoot does not eat kids but it does rescue them and bring them back to camp.
Bigfoot is available as a “Spokes-bigfoot” for ISUZU suvs and trucks, since it was
photographed standing next to one. Contact us for photos and details. 925-385-0422
Now it is true we did contribuite to the macho image of a cryptozoologist with our 1976
photo of ourself wearing beard, leather brimmed hat, a 16mm movie camera mounted on a gun-stock and a manic look in the eye, in the Lummi Reservation in NW WA. But we had
our super-secret NASA pulse-weapons in the truck, out of range of the camera. 🙂
Note – on Nov 5, I contacted Dr. Chris Conroy
at the UC Berkeley Museum of Vertebrate Zoology. He is a mammalologist. Bears and primates are mammals. At no time whatever
did I ask him about Bigfoot, since I was sure he would shy away from the subject, and we did not discuss Bigfoot. He did not endorse
Bigfoot, since, Bigfoot is not proven to exist. That said, we discussed the photos taken by Rick Jacobs 9/16 in PA with a game-cam,
above. He said he and some people on his staff, had been discussing these. I asked him whether, ON BALANCE, the 2nd and 3rd
images were of a bear (carnivore) or a primate (in general.) He mentioned, and I agree, that the last image showed ischial
callosities (calluses) on the buttocks, which bears do not have, but primates often do have. We also discussed the leg structure
of chimps, and he said that on balance, he would choose a primate (such as a chimp) for the photos, rather than a bear.
I feel he is right. We discussed the thinner legs, the longer legs and how the forelimbs were longer than the rear limbs,
as in primates. — on 10/6, I got a recorded message indicating distress on his part over this, and I can only surmise he
has pressure from his boss at UC Berkeley, about making statements about BIGFOOT. He made NO statements about
Bigfoot. Only about the issue of bear vs primate. It is too bad he cannot follow the steps of DR JANE GOODALL AND
DR. GEORGE SHALLER , who have indicated an interest in the possibility of Bigfoot. As for his boss, the director of the
Museum, shame on you sir.
Dr Chris Conroy, head of dept of Mammals at the UC Berkeley Museum of Vertebrate Zoology says that
if he had to choose between a bear and a primate, for the Rick Jacobs photo, that he would opt for primate, because it has
calluses on the buttocks. Bears do not have that.
He also noted the long legs, and that the forelimbs are longer than the hind limbs. It all adds up to not a bear.
What kind of primate he does not know, but it is similar to a chimp.

Weekend of 20-21 Oct. Don’t care to drive 400 miles to hear Danny Perez
and his anger? Been to Willow Creek before? Go to a LOCAL EVENT
if you live in SF-SJ-SC area or close by.
The Bigfoot Discovery Museum will have new exhibits re the Patterson-Gimlin Film, and will be open Sat. Oct 20, and Sunday Oct 21 to celebrate the
40 th anniv of the filming of the PG Film of Bigfoot at Bluff Creek, a film that has never been shown to be a hoax, despite hundreds of tries.
On Sunday, between approx 2-6,at a local hall, (TBA), see notices at Museum,
in Felton, a series of slides and videos will further celebrate the film.
Shown by a Museum member who also runs the International Cryptozoological
Society (Berkeley), the following will be seen – the anus and vagina of the Bigfoot, (not seen in costumes)(also noted by MK Davis), a child, one or more, crawling on the mother,(also noted by MK Davis)
a child carried piggyback, as seen by Dr Paul LeBlond of UBC,Vancouver,BC,
various Bigfoot relatives, usually young, in the trees and bushes of the film site, watching the female walk by,(as first noted by researcher Robt. W.
Morgan), plus various views of the very changeable head of of the Bigfoot,
that shows a slender jaw, completely not like Gigantopitecus blacki. Other items, artifacts, like slender lines not related to film scratches, green
blobs with details in them, a flashing eye-light, almost a beam, other blobs, specs, marks and chips that do not appear to be film flaws.
In addition, thanks to to the ICS, a Comparison Film with a man in a rented suit will be shown that attempts to duplicate the PG Film. You judge. This is the film pair that Arch-Skeptic Michael Dennett pulled the plug on at one of the last meetings of the L.A. Skeptics when the audience began top ooh and ahah (displeasing the skeptical hosts.)
Further, a humorous hoax film will be shown, from the Lummi Indian Res., and then the PG Film in standard and slow motion, with Time Code on each frame will be played many times.
Further, several slides will be shown of a new Bigfoot photo taken 9/06 that shows some similarity to the Patterson
All this will be followed by socializing at the Felton home of curator Mike Rugg. Bring BBQ items for his grill, and BYOB.
Talk Bigfoot long into the night.
